东景村位于大田县西北角，省道306线贯穿全村，是通往三明市的北面门户。[1][3]

地名与历史沿革[edit]

村子位于溪流东侧的山坳中，旧称东坑。因县内另有同名地方，1981年改称东景，1984年起称广平镇东景村。[1][2][3]

1958年归广平公社，1961年一度划入东西坑公社，1970年又并入广平公社，称东坑大队。此前1956年属文江区，1950年初属第四区，民国时属广铭乡，明清时属大田北区四十五都。[2]

地理环境[edit]

村西北设有石马岬隧道，全长2542米，省道306线由此穿过。[3]

名胜古迹[edit]

村内的崇兴寺是有千年历史的古迹。[1][3]

村东的天子盾是明代邓茂七起义的揭杆地。[4]

经济[edit]

村内设有犁田峰工业园区，引入了花卉种植、鳗鱼养殖和水力发电等产业。[3]

荣誉[edit]

东景村于2024年7月被命名为「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]

同年7月，东景村又被确定为「2021-2023年三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]
