苏桥村位于广平镇西北部，全村下辖5个自然村，村域以山林为主。[1][3]

地名与历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历是：取所辖的双涧和桥亭头两个自然村各一字，合称双桥，后音转为苏桥。[1][3]

1984年改称广平镇苏桥村并成立村民委员会。1958年属广平公社，1956年属文江区，1950年初属第四区，民国时属广铭乡，明清时属大田北区四十五都。[2]

经济[edit]

村民的收入以煤炭和运输为主，种养业以茶叶为辅，此外种植有水稻、果树、甘蔗等作物。[4]

村内的牛岭柑橘园种有蜜桔、芦柑、脐橙等8个品种。[3]
