万宅村位于广平镇西北部，辖区面积8.8平方千米。[1][3]

村名的来历是：开基的先祖有意建宅万座，故名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1984年改称广平镇万宅村并成立委员会。1958年属广平公社，称万宅大队，1956年属文江区广平乡。[2]

民国时此地属广铭乡，1950年初属第四区，明清时属大田北区四十五都。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

村内有银杏群落，以及绍恢堡。绍恢堡是省级文物保护单位。[3][4]

物产[edit]

万宅银杏果（白果）是镇里的特色食材之一。[4]

荣誉[edit]

2014年11月，万宅村被列入「第三批中国传统村落」名录。[1]

万宅村于2021年11月被命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
