黄城村是上京镇所辖的村庄，与桂坑村、城口村、丰田村等相邻。[1]

该村早年称红城，村名由村头山岬与黄姓先人开基的旧事而来。2021年获评福建省卫生村。[1]

地名由来[edit]

此地早先称为红城。村头有一山岬，黄姓先人最早在此定居，因而得名黄城岬；后取黄城岬的前两字作为村名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

本村原归漳平县聚贤里。明嘉靖十四年（1535年）大田设县后划入大田，清代改隶永春州的聚贤里。民国期间归上京乡管辖；1950年2月，改属大田县第二区。[1]

1957年撤区后，本村仍归上京乡；1958年改归桃源公社，1961年改归上京公社。1984年改制后，本村称上京镇黄城村村民委员会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

福建省爱卫办于2021年11月，把本村评为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
