地名由来[edit]
村尾有一块大石头，形状如象牙，村名由此而来。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
明清时期，此地属大田三十五都。1950年划入大田第八区，1958年改属小湖公社，1970年归红湖公社。[1]
1984年乡制恢复后，村子列入石牌乡；1997年改制设镇，村委会改称石牌镇鳌江村村民委员会。[1]
姓氏宗族[edit]
村内有郑、吴、乐三姓，其中郑姓约占一半。[3]
荣誉[edit]
2024年7月，鳌江村被命名为「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]
