上太村位于大田县城区西北部，距县城约7公里，属均溪镇。村中的龙水殿是明朝中期建造的古庙。[1]

1984年改设上太村民委员会，沿用至今。2024年7月，村被列为「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时期，上太属三十二都。1950年2月县政府成立后，上太归华太乡，属第一区。[1]

1955年设上太乡，仍属第一区；1958年8月归上太大队，属东风公社（均溪）；1961年改归均溪公社，1970年改归城关公社。1984年改设村民委员会。[1][2]

地理环境[edit]

村辖九个自然村，由拱桥、大坂、前禄坑、后禄坑、禄坑、坑园、大林、小坑排到上坑口，共10个村民小组。[1]

2012年末，村有512户，总人口1641人。村域面积11342.25亩，其中耕地1214.25亩，林地8344亩，森林覆盖率为51%。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

龙水殿俗称娘妈宫，为明朝中期建造的古庙。每年正月二十日，村中以花灯演戏庆祝，信众前来烧香拜佛者众多。[1]
