红星村位于大田县城区，县政府与均溪镇政府的驻地均在村域之内，属均溪镇。均溪河穿村而过，镇东桥也在村中。[1][2][3][4]

村名来自1950年代中山、镇东两处联合组建的合作社，取「红色之星」的寓意。1984年改设红星村民委员会，沿用至今。[1][2]

1950年代，中山与镇东两地的农户合办一个合作社，取名寓意红色之星，村名由此沿用。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明清两代，此地归三十三四都（坊都）。民国时期，旧城墙以内称中山保，城外另有镇东保与镇南保。[1]

1950年县政权建立后废除保甲，实行区乡制，城关归第一区，下设均溪镇，中山与镇东划入均溪镇。1958年8月改入东风公社，设红星生产大队管理委员会；1969年改称革命领导小组，1978年恢复管理委员会，1984年改设村民委员会。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村北靠凤凰山，东侧为鸡冠峰，村部海拔约350米。均溪河贯穿全村。[1]

村中共辖19个自然村，其中有盂头坂、二甲、老街、中街、南门、泮洋仔等。[1]

人口[edit]

2011年末，村中共有1974户，连寄户人口在内合计6216人，编为19个村民小组。区域面积16945.05亩，耕地962.55亩，森林覆盖率为50%。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

镇东桥为5孔石拱桥，横跨均溪河。明成化八年（1472年）始建，清乾隆十七年（1752年）改建为石构，1985年重修；2009年11月16日，该桥列入第七批福建省文物保护单位。[3][4]

荣誉[edit]

2024年7月，村被列为「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]
