樟荣村在宁化县西北部。村名的来历：村庄原名樟南源，村中有一片樟树，两条小河的水源向东南流去，故名；后改称樟荣，寓有繁荣昌盛的期望[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

明清时期属永丰里，称樟南源村；民国时期属永丰乡的楼家保[1]。建国后属五区永丰乡，1951年划入六区；1958年归入中沙公社；1961年设立樟荣大队，1966年曾改称燎源大队，1972年又恢复樟荣之名，1984年改为樟荣村民委员会[1]。

建筑[edit]

村中有祠堂3座，石井3口。每年正月初六与十月十八日为庙会，活动有舞龙、桥灯、抬菩萨等[2]。
