朱王村属福建省三明市宁化县方田乡，为该乡的行政村。[1]

福建省农业农村厅在2022年10月认定朱王村为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[1]

朱王村于2022年12月由福建省爱国卫生运动委员会命名，称「2022年福建省卫生村」；2023年12月，又获「2023年度福建省森林村庄」称号。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名取自朱坊、王屋两个自然村的首字。[1]

此地明清时隶属龙上上里。苏区时期（1930年）归方田区管辖；1934年成为方田乡下的朱王保。新中国成立初期划入南田乡，此后数年间在治平七区、方田八区和禾口区之间调整。1958年1月改设朱王村，同年10月并入方田公社，称朱王大队；1984年设朱王村民委员会。[1][2]
