城南镇是福建省三明市宁化县下辖的镇，位于县城南端，翠江自镇中穿过。2018年由城南乡撤乡设镇，现辖1个社区居委会和9个建制村。[1][2][3]

全镇共有28个自然村和65个村民小组。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

宋元时期此地称新村，隶属桂枝乡；明清时分属新村里和兴善里，民国时期设城南镇。[2]

新中国成立之初，此地归第一区管辖，称横锁乡；1958年设横锁公社，次年划归城关公社，1961年又恢复为横锁公社。1984年改社为乡，1992年5月定名城南乡。[2]

2018年11月27日，城南乡改设为城南镇，区划代码也随之变为350424110。[2][3]

2024年1月，城南镇获得「2023年福建省卫生乡镇」的命名。[2]

全镇2023年统计数字：面积83.44平方公里，林地6173.33公顷，耕地986.67公顷，平均海拔470米，森林覆盖率73%。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

伊天佑墓是明代古墓葬，列入宁化县第二批重点文物保护单位，位于原城南乡鱼龙铺村的蛤蟆石。[4]
