下巫坊村位于城郊镇东面，是城郊镇下辖的行政村。该村原名巫坊，1981年6月，因与同县另一处同名的大队重名，且所在地势较低，改称下巫坊。[1][2]
2022年10月，下巫坊村被列为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」；2024年1月，被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。2024年7月，又获评「2023年度三明市达标六无村（社区）」。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
明清时期此地属兴善里，民国时期隶属第一区城东镇的巫坊保。建国初划入旧墩乡，1958年归城关公社管辖，称巫坊大队。其后数次更名，1981年改称下巫坊大队，1984年改设下巫坊村民委员会。[1]
经济[edit]
村中以烤烟、水稻制种等为传统产业。[2]
