马源村位于城郊镇东片，距县城10公里，地势偏高，有3个自然村、6个村民小组。清代有马姓人家迁入建村，村名由此而来。[1][2]
2021年11月，马源村获福建省爱卫办授予「2021年福建省卫生村」称号；2024年7月，马源村获评「2023年度三明市达标六无村（社区）」。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
明清时期属兴善里，民国时期隶属第一区城东镇的马源保。建国初期为第一区马源乡，之后几经划转，1958年起称马源大队，1972年复名。1984年改设马源村民委员会。[1]
经济[edit]
村民以种粮和种烤烟为主，也种植金银花，村中多竹林。[2]
村中特产为豆腐和「坨子」，当地有「马源坨子」之称。[2]
名胜古迹[edit]
村中的仙峰寺建在山峰顶上，四周竹林环绕。[2]
