邱山村位于水茜镇东部，距镇政府约15千米，与湖村镇、泉上镇相接。[1]

村名中「邱」为姓氏，指邱氏族人；「山」指山地。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1950年设邱山乡，属第四、第五区管辖；1952年划入第九区。1958年，邱山成为水茜公社的大队；1961年改属庙前公社，1964年底回到水茜公社。1984年设村民委员会，2015年12月起为水茜镇的邱山村。[1]
