沿溪村位于水茜镇西部，是通往镇区的必经之地。[1]

村名取沿溪流两岸而建之意。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

宋至清代属招贤里。民国时此地为水茜招贤乡的沿溪保。1958年1月组成县属沿溪乡，同年10月划入沿溪公社，1959年2月改属水茜公社，成为沿溪大队。1961年另设沿溪公社，1964年复归水茜公社，仍称沿溪大队。1984年设村民委员会，2015年底属水茜镇。[2]

荣誉[edit]

福建省爱卫办于2021年11月，把沿溪村定为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]

2024年7月，沿溪村获得2023年度三明市达标「六无」村（社区）的称号。[1]
