桥头村位于淮土镇境内，村民住在桥的一头，村名由此而来。[1]

2023年2月，桥头村入选「福建省第三批高级版绿盈乡村」名单。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清代村子属龙上下里，建国前是淮土乡西南保的一部分。新中国成立初，村子划入禾口二区的淮土乡，取名桥头村。[1]

此后村子一度归淮阳营的一个连队，1961年成为大队，1966年间改称革命大队，1974年才恢复桥头之名。1984年起设立桥头村民委员会。[1]
