永跃村地处安远镇北部，宁溪水与205省道由村中穿过。东面是建宁县均口镇，南面连接水茜乡，西侧可望牙梳山。[1]

村名此前称中郑。合作化时期改称「永跃」，寓意永远跃进，此后的社、大队、村都沿用这一名称。[2]

荣誉：2021年4月，被命名「2021年三明市民主法治示范村（社区）」；2021年11月，获「2021年福建省卫生村」；2022年10月，被认定为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」；2024年7月，被命名「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时为中正保，其后因避讳改为中郑保（据博雅地名网）。建国初设中郑乡。1958年，郑坊、严池与中郑合为一个大队；1966年三村并为一个大队，改名永跃大队。1984年改为安远乡永跃村，2013年才改为安远镇永跃村村民委员会。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

村中有宝峰寺、寿山寺和南山寺三座寺庙。宝峰寺、寿山寺经过几次扩建修整，南山寺也曾迁址。[2]

经济[edit]

明清时期，严池一带出产贡米，曾年年进贡朝廷。[2]
