安远镇是福建省三明市宁化县下辖的镇，位于县境北部，是闽赣两省四县八乡的交汇处。全镇辖1个社区、19个建制村。[1][4]

据县政府2023年的统计，全镇有8291户，人口38217人；镇域面积为282平方千米。[1]

地名取“安”字，寄托社会安定的愿望（据博雅地名网）。据县规划，此地古称下土寨，旧名黄土岗；宋代称安远寨，清代隶属招得里，后设安远巡检司，故又称“安远司”。[2][4]

2024年1月，安远镇被命名为「2023年福建省卫生乡镇」；2021年2月，「福建省2018-2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单公布，安远镇列入其中。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时此地归招得里。苏区时期（1930年至1934年），此地设芒东桥、洪围、伍坊、都上、营上五区，隶澎湃县；1934年，澎湃县与闽赣省两级苏维埃政府机关曾迁驻里坑村。[3]

1950年3月，此地划入第五区（中沙），称安远镇；1956年5月改为安远区，辖一镇八乡。1958年又分出营上乡、赵东乡，并设安远镇；同年10月组成三个公社，1959年2月合为安远公社。1966年8月，公社辖20个大队；1984年改制为安远镇。[3]

地理环境[edit]

据县规划，安远溪为金溪支流宁溪的上游，发源于割畲村的牙梳山，经永跃村流入建宁县境。1957年至1962年，安远、营上、东桥三个公社的木材曾由该溪放流至建宁县城，装排后运往顺昌县。[4]

名胜古迹[edit]

牙梳山位于安远镇境内，与江西广昌、石城两县交界，属武夷山脉支脉。其主峰高1387.3米，在县内位居第二。省级自然保护区于1999年设立；县规划又称其为省级森林公园。[4][5]

朝天寨是岩前村的丹霞地貌景区，县规划列为全县自然与人文景观之一。[4]

赵家源李氏家庙位于东桥村赵家源自然村，为清代祠堂建筑，2011年11月18日由宁化县人民政府公布为第四批县级文物保护单位。[6][7]

镇内有闽赣省机关旧址，即谷仓标语群。[1]

文化[edit]

据县规划，镇域方言与县城话差别较大，彼此难以通话；镇与广昌、建宁两县的血缘、姻亲联系密切，习俗也与之相近。[4]

2009年非物质文化遗产普查时，安远乡记有非遗项目88项；戏曲中祁剧、木偶戏在水茜、安远、河龙、中沙一带较为常见。[4]

县规划称，安远乡的稻田薰鱼制作方法较为正宗，老鼠干也是当地的传统食品。县规划列出的形成墟市的三十六个乡村中，安远是其一。[4]
