下曹村是福建省三明市宁化县曹坊镇下辖的行政村，位于宁化县南部，距县城约40公里，省道205线穿村而过[1]。村名因地处曹坊溪下游、曹姓开基而来[1]。村中保存着明清古民居建筑群和多处红军旧址，2019年入选第七批中国历史文化名村[1][3]。

历史沿革[edit]

关于建村年代，博雅地名网称村落始于元代致和年间[2]，百度百科则作南宋德祐元年（1275年）建村[3]。民国时期编为大同乡的下曹保；1950年设下曹乡；1958年归曹坊公社，成为下曹大队；1984年起称下曹村民委员会[1]。1930年，村中设立了南乡革命委员会，作为临时性的红色政权[3]。2017年，村落获命名为「中央红军村」[3]。

名胜古迹[edit]

村中保存明清古民居建筑群，百度百科称现存45座[3]。2013年1月，该建筑群获公布为省级文物保护单位（第八批）[2]。村内红军及赤卫队旧址共五处：「下曹红一军团驻地旧址（安祥公厅厦）」为县级文物保护单位[5]；「下曹红十二军三十四师驻地旧址（泰宇公厅厦）」「下曹红色夜校旧址（廷玉公厅厦）」「下曹红四军驻地旧址（杨冈公祠）」「下曹赤卫队队部旧址（九龙寺）」均为省级文物保护单位[1]。

文化[edit]

荣誉方面，2012年1月，村落被认定为「第四批福建省历史文化名镇名村」；2015年10月入选「福建省第一批省级传统村落」；2019年1月入选「第七批中国历史文化名村」，同年6月列入「第五批中国传统村落」[1][3]。2021年10月入选「2021年福建省金牌旅游村」名单，同年11月被命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」[1]。2022年10月，被认定为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」[1]。2023年12月，村里入选「四星级三明革命老区高质量发展示范区现场教学基地」[4]。2024年7月，被命名为「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」[1]。
