禾口村隶属福建省三明市宁化县石壁镇，为行政村之一。村名“禾口”是“河口”的谐音，原指两条河的交汇处。[1][3]
2014年3月，原立新村改称禾口村，村内保留有扩红指挥部旧址、红军桥遗址和伍家屋红军标语旧址等红色遗迹。[1][3][4]
历史沿革[edit]
明清两代，此地隶属龙上下里。民国时期归禾口乡管辖，那时称老岗保。解放初期仍在二区的禾口乡之内；1958年改为禾口公社下的老市大队。[1][2]
1966年，此村改称立新大队；1984年又以立新村的名义设民委会。1993年11月并入石壁镇，直至2014年3月，才正式改名为禾口村民委员会。[1][3]
“禾口”一名自南宋时已有称谓，海外及港澳台的客家乡亲来信多称「禾口某地」，为保留这一地名，原立新村于2014年改名禾口村。[1][3]
文化[edit]
村内保留传统集市，每逢农历一、六赶圩，辐射周边20余村。[3]
2016年本村被纳入福建省「千村整治、百村示范」美丽乡村建设工程；2021年11月，福建省爱卫办命名本村为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[3]
福建省农业农村厅在2022年10月将本村列为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」；2024年2月，本村被确定为「第二批福建省乡村振兴示范村镇」创建对象。[1][3]
名胜古迹[edit]
禾口区扩红指挥部旧址位于本村下八社自然村，原为清代董氏民宅，为县级文物保护单位。1933年9月，此处设起禾口区的扩红指挥部，至10月下旬完成扩红1000余人。[4][5]
红军桥遗址位于本村，1934年春由驻禾口红军与当地群众共建多孔石拱桥，1977年6月被暴雨冲毁后，同年在原址重建。[4]
伍家屋红军标语旧址位于本村伍家屋自然村，为清代伍氏香火厅，墙上留有红军标语一条。该旧址在2008年8月经宁化县政府公告，列为县级文物保护单位。[4]
著名人物[edit]
张雍耿（1917年—1994年）出生于立新村，即本村，1931年参加中国工农红军，1955年授少将军衔。[1][6]
朱运根（1911年—1983年）祖居本村，1930年加入地方游击队，很快升任排长。[1]
