邓坊村是湖村镇下辖的行政村。2022年12月，邓坊村获评2022年福建省卫生村，评定单位为福建省爱国卫生运动委员会。[1]

在2023年度三明市达标「六无」村（社区）名单中，邓坊村于2024年7月公布入列。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，邓坊一带建村于南宋时期，早先为刘、涂、李、戴四姓居住之地，原名鱼水尾村。[1][2]

其后四姓衰落，村子一度荒废，邓姓先人迁入后另辟村址，以邓姓为村名。此后又有许姓迁入；清末民初，上杭一带也有人迁来。[2]

1958年属湖村公社，设邓坊大队；1984年改设邓坊村。[2]
