新军村位于泉上镇西北部，距镇区约13公里，与明溪县枫溪乡、宁化县水茜镇相邻，地处偏僻山区，全村辖8个自然村。[1][2][3]
村名由新鲜排、军山两个自然村的首字合成。[1]
2024年7月，村被命名为「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」，并被确定为「2021-2023年三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
明清时村地隶泉下里，1933年设苏区政府；民国时编为保，建国后期划入豪亨乡。1958年归泉正公社，称新军大队；1964年改隶泉上公社，名称未变。[1][2]
1968年改称光锋大队，1974年复名新军大队，1984年改设新军村民委员会。[1]
