黄新村位于泉上镇西北部，下辖10个自然村。村名以黄田、新坊两个自然村的首字组合而成。[1][2]
2024年7月，村被命名为「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」，并被确定为「2021-2023年三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
明清时期村地属泉下里。1933年曾设苏区政府；1935年，原泉下联保更名为黄新保。1951年置黄新乡，1959年划归泉上公社，称黄新大队。[1][2]
1968年改称四新大队，1974年复名黄新大队，1984年改设黄新村民委员会。[1]
