青瑶村位于泉上镇东部，距镇政府约4公里，东与明溪县盖洋镇接壤，属库区移民村。[1][2]
村名取自旧时当地多青砖窑场的情形，“瑶”与“窑”音近而得名。[1]
2021年4月，村被命名为「2021年三明市民主法治示范村（社区）」。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
明清时属泉上里，民国年间设保。1933年归泉上区，并设立乡级苏维埃政府。1950年村名定为青瑶村，隶第四区元仲乡；1956年改属泉上区，设青瑶乡。[1][2]
1958年随泉上公社建立村级建制，称青瑶大队；1968年一度改称红卫大队，1974年复名青瑶大队，1984年改设青瑶村民委员会，名称沿用至今。[1][2]
