吴家村隶属清流县李家乡，离乡政府7.5公里。村名源于宋代吴氏在此建村。村内共有五个自然村：马地、流水、张山甲、张家营和马家山。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

新中国成立前，此地为清流县仁里乡下的吴家保；新中国成立初期属清流县第四区，设吴家乡。1959年改归灵地公社，1961年设吴家大队，1984年改设吴家村，成立村民委员会。县志（民国）中记有此地的一个“保”，其专名延续至今作村名，因此县里将本村列为百年以上古村落。[1][2]
