新矶村位于沙芜乡境内，原名矶头。因安砂水库淹没旧址，村民迁至夫仁排，村名改为新矶。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

1973年，村址迁至夫仁排后另建村落，属沙芜公社新矶大队。1984年由大队改称新矶村民委员会，沿用至今。[1][2]

经济[edit]

村内以种植水稻为主，渔业养殖是主要经济来源。[1][3]
