向阳村是清流县林畲镇下辖的行政村，位于镇域北部，与宁化县、明溪县交界。村内海拔约838米，据博雅地名网是全县海拔最高的行政村，也是老区基点村。[1][2]

地名与历史沿革[edit]

村庄原名盖竹洋，1971年起划归清流县管辖。文化大革命期间，几个小村合并组建向阳大队；1984年改设向阳村村民委员会。[1]

2010年本点迁移之后，此地派生出3处居民点：旧址、新村与向阳二区，其中前两处均冠以村名。[1]

「向阳」一名系当时林畲乡的党委书记所起，寓意向着太阳的葵花。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，福建省爱卫办评定向阳村为「2021年福建省卫生村」。2024年7月，村庄被命名为「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]
