黄坑村位于长校镇最西北面，辖上黄坑、下黄坑、丁里上三个自然村，是革命老区基点村。[1]

村子地处偏僻，四面是山。村部设在丁里上，那里居住集中，人口较多。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

1945年前后属堡里乡沙荷保，1951年归五区管辖，1958年属长校公社，1961年为该公社黄坑大队。1984年起称长校乡黄坑村，设村民委员会；1992年改隶长校镇，称黄坑村民委员会。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

村子西北有一座寺庙，博雅地名网称它已有千年以上历史，即湖寺。[2]

村边有两棵几百年树龄的红豆杉，2000年被挂牌为国家保护名树。[2]

经济[edit]

村中山林面积大，以造林、毛竹山和油茶树山为主。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2024年1月，黄坑村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」；2024年7月，被命名为「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]
