尤坊甲村位于灵地镇，村名的来历有两层：清初尤姓人在此居住；又因当地山势形如峡谷，「峡」与「甲」方言读音相同，遂称尤坊甲。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

解放前村地属群英乡吉林保。1950年划入灵地区，1951年改属第四区，1956年回到灵地区。其间曾设为灵地区的龙坊甲乡。1961年成为邓家公社的尤坊甲大队；1984年改为邓家乡下的龙坊甲村，设村委会；2007年起称灵地镇尤坊甲村。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，尤坊甲村获福建省爱卫办授予「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]

2024年7月，村被命名为2023年度三明市达标「六无」村（社区）。[1]
