田中村是灵地镇下辖的行政村，村名取其地处田野中央之意。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

解放前，这里属群英乡邓家保。1950年起归灵地区的邓家乡，1951年划入第四区，1956年仍在灵地区。1958年10月，村地划归红旗公社的邓家大队，1961年又成为邓家公社的田中大队。1984年改设邓家乡田中村，并成立村委会；2007年起隶属灵地镇。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，田中村获福建省爱卫办授予「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]

2024年7月，村被命名为2023年度三明市达标「六无」村（社区）。[1]
