地理环境[edit]
村名取自邱元、寨下两个自然村名各一个字，合为邱寨。[3]
村内林业为主，产木材、毛竹和茶油，矿产有萤石矿与钾长石，村里还有邱元温泉。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
清代此地属仓盈里，1945年改隶复兴乡的寨下保，1950年为一区寨下乡，1958年归卫星公社下和大队。[1]
到1961年，下和大队的一部分独立出来，称邱寨大队，直至1984年才改设为村。[1]
福建省爱卫办于2021年11月授予本村「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]
村中新生、尾辽与红星三个组，是1962年迁入的移民。千布、小溪等七个自然村组，据称已有400余年的历史。[2]
名胜古迹[edit]
罗氏宗祠位于寨下组，2004年重建，形制宏大。[2]
