罗陂岗村是老区村，位于嵩溪镇东北部。村名因最早由罗氏在此开基定居而得。[1][2]

1933年东方军入闽作战时，红军在村境内的石狮岭设伏取胜，这是东方军入闽作战打响的第一仗。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

早先属永得乡群周保，1950年归嵩溪区团结乡，1951年改隶二区建设乡。1958年10月公社化时，与时州、伍家坊等合成英雄公社的团结大队。1961年8月清宁分县，村单独设为嵩溪公社罗陂岗大队，1984年起改设乡下的村民委员会。[1]

村中保留有古道、古桥、古树和古陂等历史遗迹。[2]
