农科村位于嵩溪镇区内，村民生计以加工豆腐皮、做粉条和从事第三产业为主。村中有青州巫公庄屋，为祭祀巫罗俊所建的清代建筑。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村名据称来自早年村里推广农业科学制种。[1]

1979年，农科村从嵩溪大队分出，称嵩溪公社农科村；1984年成立嵩溪乡农科村村民委员会；1990年随嵩溪改镇，更名为嵩溪镇农科村。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

青州巫公庄屋始建于清雍正十二年（1734年），是为祭祀巫氏先祖巫罗俊而建的纪念性建筑，单檐歇山顶，砖木结构。2009年公布为省级文物保护单位。[2]

余氏家庙及门楼是一处清代的坛庙祠堂，占地176平方米。清流县于2018年7月30日公布的第五批县级文物保护单位中，有此项。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年福建省卫生村的称号于2021年11月授予农科村。2010年，村获三明市委、三明市人民政府授予的「三明市计生协会工作先进单位」称号。[1][3]
