地美村是福建省三明市明溪县夏阳乡下辖的行政村，位于乡域东部，属革命老区基点村，距乡政府所在地约15公里、距县城约61公里。[1]

地名由来[edit]

明成化六年（1470年）建县时，此地位于县境尾端，原称「地尾」。因「尾」字观感不佳，后改为雅称「地美」。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时期此地属归化县沙阳里，中华人民共和国成立前为明溪县地美乡民生保。1953年成为二区新民乡，次年改称夏阳区地美乡。此后1956年三元与明溪合并，归属三明县；1958年曾设夏阳公社地美大队，1964年明溪复县后仍沿用此名。1983年为夏阳区地美乡，1987年成为夏阳乡地美村委会，并沿用至今。[1][2]

荣誉[edit]

福建省爱卫办于2021年11月把地美村定为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
