新坊村是福建省三明市明溪县夏阳乡下辖的行政村，位于乡域东部，属革命老区基点村，距乡政府所在地约13公里。[1]

地名由来[edit]

邓氏族人最早在此开辟居所，因地势平坦宽阔，称为「新坊」。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时期此地属归化县沙阳里。1933年并入四区，1935年划归明溪县二区，1941年称地美乡石溪保。1953年设二区新坊乡，次年改属夏阳区新坊乡。1956年三元与明溪两县合并，归三明县管辖；1958年成为夏阳公社新坊大队，1964年回归明溪县。1983年改为夏阳区新坊乡，1987年起称夏阳乡新坊村委会。[1][2]

荣誉[edit]

2021年4月，村被评为「2021年三明市民主法治示范村（社区）」。福建省爱国卫生运动委员会在2022年12月认定村子为「2022年福建省卫生村」。[1]

2024年1月，村获「2023年福建省卫生村」称号；同年7月，又获「2023年度三明市达标六无村（社区）」称号。2025年11月，村入选福建省「2025年度省级一村一品专业村」，产业为吊瓜。[1]
