瓦溪村是福建省三明市明溪县夏阳乡下辖的行政村，位于乡域东北部，距乡政府所在地约18公里。[1]
地名由来[edit]
村子的地形像一只鹅，原称「鹅溪」，后因读音相近演变为「瓦溪」。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
建国前此地属明溪县地美乡，称瓦溪保，建国后划入沙溪二区。1956年三元与明溪合并，归属三明县，1958年村地曾并入夏阳公社良村大队。1964年明溪复县，夏阳公社随之恢复；1980年瓦溪自良村析出，单独设大队。村名在1987年定为夏阳乡瓦溪村，此前的1983年属夏阳区瓦溪乡。[1][2]
荣誉[edit]
2024年7月，瓦溪村被命名为2023年度三明市达标「六无」村（社区）。[1]
