永溪村是明溪县沙溪乡下辖的行政村，地处306省道沿线，交通便利。村委会以境内溪流的名字命名。[1][2]

村名[edit]

境内溪流名为“永溪”，村以溪得名。民国《明溪县志》记载，该溪流经永将坑一带时称永溪。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

1987年改称沙溪乡永溪村，名称沿用至今；1983年曾为沙溪区永溪乡。1976年大队部由永溪迁到墩上。1964年为明溪县沙溪公社的永溪大队，1958年属岩前公社。1954年改属沙溪区永溪乡，1953年称二区永溪乡，1941年为明溪县溪口乡永溪保，1935年属明溪县二区，1933年属三区，明清时期属归化县归下里十四都。[3]
