渔塘溪在碧州一段名为“碧溪”，村子依水得名，即以碧溪命名的聚落。[4]
历史沿革[edit]
1987年定为沙溪乡碧洲村委会，名称沿用至今。1983年改为沙溪区碧洲村，1970年为沙溪公社碧洲大队。1964年属明溪县沙溪公社，1958年划入岩前公社，1956年划归三明县，1954年称沙溪区沙溪乡。[3]
荣誉[edit]
百度百科称，该村于2021年获评「森林村庄」；2022年，本村又获省级乡村治理示范村镇认定。[2]
