上坊村是城关乡下辖的行政村，位于县城东大门，两侧分别是国家级南山现代农业园区与县生态工业园区，该村属老区基点村。[1]

村子北面约300米的狮子山上是南山遗址，1986年发现，2013年列为第七批全国重点文物保护单位。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

1959年起上坊属雪峰公社上坊大队；1964年明溪县恢复后，它仍是该公社的上坊大队。1969年改隶城关公社，1981年6月城关公社改称雪峰公社。1983年这里设为城关区上坊乡，四年后城关区撤改为城关乡，上坊遂成城关乡上坊村委会。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

南山遗址位于狮子山南侧山脚，由1至4号洞穴和山顶区域构成，文化遗存涵盖旧石器、新石器和青铜时代。[2]

经济[edit]

2024年11月，上坊村被认定为「2024年度福建省“一村一品”专业村」（茶叶）。[1]

2024年2月，上坊村被确定为「第二批福建省乡村振兴示范村镇」创建对象。[1]

上坊的天龙茶园由党组织牵头，联合龙头企业、合作社和农户经营，并与茶旅融合发展。[3]

上坊村于2021年11月获评「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
