城关乡是福建省三明市明溪县下辖的乡，位于县境中西部，兼具城区近郊与农村的特点，属城郊结合型乡镇。[1]

据县政府网站2026年3月发布的乡简介，全乡面积131.05平方千米，截至2025年有户籍人口11571人、党员433名。[1] 乡内的南山遗址、毛泽东调查活动旧址和翠竹洋古火山口上的村落是主要的文物与自然遗存。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

明朝时这里属归化县的归上里；民国以后，它被划入第一区管辖。[2][3][6]

民国20年至23年（1931年至1934年）底，坪埠、王桥两地设立了乡苏维埃政府。[6]

中华人民共和国成立前后，这里是雪峰乡和第一区区公所的所在地。1959年，上游人民公社分出胡坊、雪峰两个公社，此处称雪峰公社。[3]

1969年6月，原雪峰公社拆开，另设城关公社。1981年6月，城关公社改称雪峰公社，原雪峰公社改名瀚仙公社。1982年，省里推行体制改革，雪峰镇自雪峰公社划出设立。[3]

此后这一带改设城关区，1987年改称城关乡。[3]

地理环境[edit]

乡境森林覆盖率为73.97%，土壤富含硒和锌。[1]

经济[edit]

狮窠村的淮山获得国家级「一村一品」认证，并入选全国「土特产」名录，深加工产品销往福州、厦门。[1]

上坊村的天龙茶园由党组织牵头，联合龙头企业、合作社和农户经营，并与茶旅融合发展。[1]

全乡建有数十个珍稀鸟类观鸟点，打造出「百鸟家园」，是县内生态观鸟旅游的组成部分。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

南山遗址位于上坊村北约300米的狮子山南侧，1986年发现，由1至4号洞穴和山顶区域组成，总面积约18万平方米，文化遗存涵盖旧石器、新石器和青铜时代。2013年3月5日，国务院公布其为第七批全国重点文物保护单位。[5]

县政府网站把南山遗址看作福建省首个兼有洞穴与露天遗存的史前文化遗存，并称它曾被评为「中国六大考古新发现」之一。[1]

毛泽东调查活动旧址即万春桥，位于坪埠村村部东北约300米。毛泽东曾在此做调查研究、指导土地革命，这座桥因此成为其调查研究理论的实践地，现列为县级文物保护单位。[1][2]

滴水岩红军战地医院旧址在坪埠村西北面。红军自1930年起在明溪活动，直至1934年冬，其间先后设了多所红军医院。[2]

赖水金烈士墓位于坪埠村谢厝湾自然村，是明溪县爱国主义教育的重要场所。[1][2]

下汴红军桥旧址又称原厝坑高平廊屋桥，在下汴村的原厝坑，已定为县级文物保护单位。[2]

翠竹洋是罗翠村的自然村，村落坐落于约1500万年前形成的古火山口之上，为全国四大蓝宝石发源地之一。村落2013年8月被列为第二批「中国传统村落」。[1][4]

乡内还留有罗翠官厅红军驻地旧址、红军井等红色遗址。[1]
