瓦口村是福建省三明市明溪县胡坊镇下辖的行政村，距胡坊镇4公里，距明溪县城25公里。全村共259户1076人，分15个村民小组，下辖10个自然村。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村内耕地2442亩，林业用地41348亩，其中集体林20998亩。境内水资源和萤石矿丰富。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名由来：早年翁姓村民靠烧瓦谋生，瓦窑设在村口，村名由此而来。[1]

明清时期属归化县归下里十一都。1941年属道南乡峰邝保，1950年设第一区胡坊乡。1983年为胡坊区瓦口乡；1987年改称胡坊乡瓦口村委会；1995年撤乡建镇后，更名为胡坊镇瓦口村委会。[1][2]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，瓦口村被福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」；2022年12月，被福建省绿化委员会命名为「2022年福建省森林村庄」。[1]

2024年6月，瓦口村上榜「福建省第四批高级版绿盈乡村」；2024年7月，被命名为「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]
