福西村是福建省三明市明溪县胡坊镇下辖的行政村，村落距胡坊镇政府7.5公里，离县城15公里。全村170户612人，划为9个村民小组，内含6个自然村。[1]
地理环境[edit]
村内有林地2.58万亩，耕地1550亩。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村委会所在的自然村坐西朝东，地势开阔向阳，“洋”通“阳”，取福气居人之意，村名由此而来。[1]
1941年，此地属道南乡胡西保下的福西洋村。1950年划入第一区胡坊乡，1954年改设胡坊区福西村，1959年成为胡坊公社福西大队。1983年设胡坊区福西乡政府。[1]
1995年，撤乡建镇，村委会更名为胡坊镇福西村委会，此名至今沿用。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年，福西村被列入全国“千村万寨展新颜”展示活动的名单。[2]
2020年12月，福西村入选“福建省第一批高级版绿盈乡村”名单，并列入2020年福建省森林村庄名单。2021年11月，村被福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
2024年7月，福西村被命名为「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]
