林地村位于盖洋镇东部，交战公路从村中穿过，离镇区15公里，离县城10公里[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

村名因早期林木成片、郁郁葱葱而得名[1]。1970年起设林地大队，1983年改为盖洋区林地乡，1987年为盖洋镇林地村民委员会，沿用至今[1]。

2021年11月，林地村获得「2021年福建省卫生村」称号[1]。2024年7月，林地村被命名为「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」[1]。
