湾内村位于盖洋镇东部，东与常坪村相接，距盖洋镇区19公里[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来由是河道弯曲，村子就坐落在弯道之内[1]。明清时期属归化县柳杨里七都。1954年隶属盖洋区城岚乡，三元与明溪县合并于1956年；1983年8月设盖洋区湾内乡政府，1987年起为盖洋镇湾内村民委员会[1]。

2024年7月，湾内村被命名为「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」[1]。
