历史沿革[edit]
村名的来历是：宋代余姓先民迁来定居，因当地盛产白竹叶，便以此命名[1][2]。明清时期白叶属归化县柳杨里七都，1987年设白叶村民委员会，沿用至今[1]。
2015年10月，白叶村入选「福建省第一批省级传统村落」[1]。2020年12月，白叶村入选「2020年福建省森林村庄」名单[1]。2021年11月，白叶村获得「2021年福建省卫生村」称号[1]。
人口民族[edit]
2019年的一篇报道提到，聚族而居的600余人中约三分之二外出谋生[3]。
文化[edit]
同一篇报道引用古谚“金白叶，银白岚”，并据县志记载，村中曾出过4个举人、10个贡生[3]。
