盖洋村位于盖洋镇西北部，是镇政府所在地，距明溪县城22公里，省道穿村而过[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
村名与镇名同源，相传宋时李氏族人一夜之间在一片开阔地上盖起了房屋，地名由此而来[1]。明清两朝属归化县柳杨里三都，1936年设三区区公所于盖洋，1956年三元与明溪县合并后属三明县，1958年划入三明县，属盖洋公社下的盖洋大队；1964年重归明溪县，仍为盖洋公社盖洋大队[1]。1983年设盖洋区盖洋乡人民政府管理，1987年起称盖洋镇盖洋村民委员会，至今沿用[1]。
2022年10月，省农业农村厅确认盖洋村为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」[1]。2022年12月，盖洋村经省爱卫会命名，获「2022年福建省卫生村」称号[1]。2024年1月，盖洋村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」[1]。2024年2月，盖洋村被确定为「第二批福建省乡村振兴示范村镇」创建对象[1]。2024年7月，盖洋村被命名为「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」[1]。
地理环境[edit]
村子处在河谷盆地上，地势东北高、西北低，海拔在380至460米之间，柳里河是村内的主要水源[2]。村境内有红蓝宝石矿藏，森林覆盖率达82%以上，属亚热带季风气候[2]。
人口民族[edit]
村中主要的自然村有汤家、下街、李家、新街、三溪寨、元科、张良等，元科之外的六个自然村都在省道沿线[2]。
经济[edit]
村里以种植水稻、烟叶为主，农副产品有笋干、毛竹、甘薯等[2]。
文化[edit]
盖洋牛会是每年农历八月十九至二十一日举行的耕牛交易大会，相传已有500多年历史。过去以耕牛买卖为大宗，外省及浙江、广东、江西的客商也来交易；1982年是成交最多的一届，共1388头，成交金额97.65万元[2]。近年耕牛越来越少，牛会更像一场货物交流的集市，名称「明溪盖洋牛会」列入了县级非物质文化遗产[3]。
正月十五是村里扛龙灯的日子，汤家、李家、客家三条板凳龙，所过之处鞭炮声不断[2]。「明溪盖洋板凳龙」同样列入县级非物质文化遗产名录[3]。
