长村是福建省三明市沙县区郑湖乡下辖的行政村，村内有上村、下村、金坪、长山坑4个自然村。村名由下辖自然村长山坑的「长」字与下村的「村」字拼合而来。[1][2]

村内森林覆盖率为90.33%，山林约26944.65亩，耕地约1107.9亩。全村8个村民小组，共279户，陈姓为主要姓氏。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明代此地属四都，建国前属郑湖乡辖境，建国后先归高砂区，之后隶属南阳区。1954年设立四区长村乡，1958年改为南阳公社的长村大队。1979年改归郑湖公社管辖，1984年改设郑湖乡长村村民委员会，名称一直沿用至今。[2]

荣誉[edit]

长村于2024年7月被命名为「2023年度三明市达标六无村（社区）」，同月又获确定为「2021-2023年三明市达标六无村（社区）」。[2]
