郑湖乡是福建省三明市沙县区下辖的乡，位于沙县区东南部，乡政府驻郑湖村，辖11个行政村，其中8个为老区基点村。全乡以山地为主，山林面积约14.26万亩，农业以鸭、柿、竹和小吃为主要产业，郑湖水柿是本乡的代表性特产。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

宋代这一带属新昌乡洛阳里。[3] 乡名取自境内郑墩村与湖源村两地的首字，得名于民国时期。[4] 1949年12月此地划归高砂区（三区），1951年改属南阳区（四区），1956年又并入高砂区管辖。1961年，郑湖公社自南阳公社分出；1963年11月，两者重又合为南阳公社。1979年7月，郑湖公社再度从南阳公社中分立。1984年，郑湖公社改为郑湖乡。[3][4]

地理与人口[edit]

乡境距沙县区城区39.3公里，地理海拔介于270至780米之间。土地总面积据沙县区人民政府网为104.80平方千米，森林覆盖率为82.27%。[1] 百度百科所载面积为110.09平方千米，并记截至2019年末户籍人口为12978人。[3] 沙县区人民政府网所载全乡总人口为13016人，该页标注的日期为2022年4月27日。[1]

经济与物产[edit]

沙县区人民政府网称，鸭子、柿子、竹子和小吃是乡里农业的主导产业，合称「三子一吃」，乡里以「一村一品」推动特色产业发展。该网还载郑湖乡曾被认定为「市级特色农业乡镇」，乡里素有「板鸭之乡」的称呼。[1]

郑湖水柿的品种原产广西恭城县，1987年经福建农业大学周良才教授引入沙县，在本地生根后经生长与改良，成为仅见于郑湖的品种。[2] 2005年5月，乡政府注册「郑湖」牌水柿商标；2008年6月，郑湖水柿通过绿色食品产品认定。[5] 2013年，郑湖水柿通过地理标志保护农产品认证。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

本乡见于记载的县级文物保护单位，有杜坑村的五家大院，见杜坑村。[6]

荣誉[edit]

2021年2月，郑湖乡入选福建省「2018-2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单。[4] 郑湖乡于2022年10月获福建省农业农村厅认定，列为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[4] 2024年1月，郑湖乡被命名为「2023年福建省卫生乡镇」。[4]
