大基口村位于南阳乡西部，距乡政府约5千米，村名因在大基村的出口处而得名，村子紧靠厦沙高速的南阳口。[1][2][3][4]

历史沿革[edit]

此地古属七都，建国前属潮阳乡的坡科保。建国后经二区西坑乡、四区西坑乡，后归四区坡窠乡管辖。1958年归南阳公社的坡窠大队，1961年分出，另设大基口大队，同属南阳公社。1984年起称南阳乡大基口村村民委员会。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

村内的邓将军墓纪念唐代的邓光布将军，墓位于芹菜盂一带，坐西向东，现为福建省文物保护单位。[5]

产业[edit]

葡萄种植是村里的主要产业。百度百科载，2023年本村常住人口636人。[4]

荣誉[edit]

2019年度，本村获评「省级四星级乡村旅游村」。[2]

2020年12月，本村入选「2020年度福建省一村一品示范村」名单，产品为葡萄。[1]

2021年11月，省爱卫办认定本村为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
