坡科村位于南阳乡北部，距乡政府约2.5千米，村名由「坡头」与「竹科」各取一字而成。[1][2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

此地古属六都。建国前为南阳乡的坡科保；建国后，1952年设坡头乡，1953年改为坡科乡，之后几经并改，1958年归红专公社，次年改称南阳乡坡科大队。1984年起设南阳乡坡科村村民委员会。[4]

荣誉[edit]

2024年1月，本村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]
