山际村位于大洛镇北，距集镇约5公里，辖山际、山坪、上坂三个自然村。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
村庄原称山漈村，约20世纪80年代改为今名，村名来自水尾处的一块石际。[1]
早先此地属沙县仪奉团，民国时归扬光乡文山保；1961年设山漈大队，属大洛公社，1984年改设山际村村民委员会。[1]
2024年1月，本村获得「2023年福建省卫生村」称号；2022年10月，省农业农村厅将本村列为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」；2024年7月，山际村获评「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]
